After the departure of Michael Tonge earlier today another of the midfielders signed by Neil Warnock in his time as manager of Leeds United has left Elland Road.
David Norris has parted company with the Whites with his contract with the club ended by mutual consent.
He is now free to find an alternative club and is regarded as a free agent.
During his two-and-a-half year stay at Elland Road, Norris made 36 appearances for Leeds, scoring four goals, but first team appearances have been limited in the past two years and he has played just once this season, in the Capital One Cup defeat at Bradford City.
The 33-year-old’s three-year deal was due to expire at the end of June. He signed from Portsmouth in the summer of 2012.
