OSSETT Albion will aim to haul themselves off the bottom of Evo-Stik Division 1 North today when Trafford visit the Warehouse Systems Stadium (kick-off 3pm).

Albion’s poor start to the season got no better last weekend when they slumped to a 5-0 loss at Farsley FC which saw them take bottom spot in the division.

It was their fifth defeat from as many games on their travels this term but Albion will be looking to home comforts for points against the Lancastrians.

Trafford will be no pushovers though and have already enjoyed success in Ossett when they thumped Wakefield FC 4-1 at Stade France.

The Bears enjoyed an FA Cup triumph over Ossett Town last time out but turn their attentions back to league action today when they host Mossley at Stade France (kick-off 3pm).

Ossett Town suffered double cup woe when their weekend FA Cup loss was followed by an early exit in the Doodson Sport Cup against Brigg Town on Tuesday night.

Their league form has been encouraging though and Phil Sharpe’s men will aim for a return to winning ways when they visit Salford City today (kick-off 3pm).
