Ossett Albion aim to maintain improved form against Lancaster

OSSETT Albion will look to continue their improved form today when promotion-chasing Lancaster City visit the Warehouse Systems Stadium (kick-off 3pm).

Albion have won two of their last three Evo-Stik Division 1 North matches, their latest victory coming on their travels for the first time agaisnt Trafford.

They’re still adrift of safety but the double success will give Albion fans plenty of reasons to be cheerful in their quest to avoid relegation.

The visit of Lancaster, who sit third in the table, is likely to provider a tougher test for Albion but one they’ll be keen to pass with flying colours.

Neighbours Ossett Town make the short trip to face Garforth Town (kick-off 3pm).

Phil Sharpe’s men will be eager to put the disappointment of their controversial midweek FA Trophy defeat against Solihull Moors behind them.

Wakefield FC’s new management team will take charge of the Bears for the first time on home soil today when they host Radcliffe Borough at Stade France (kick-off 3pm).

The Bears suffered a heavy 6-0 loss at Mossley last weekend in light of major changes in playing and management staff and will target a much-improved performance against Borough.
