OSSETT Albion have moved quickly to replace departing manager Eric Gilchrist by naming Lloyd Fellows and Paul Watson as joint managers.
The duo have looked over both the club’s reserve and under-19 teams in recent seasons and have been promoted to take control of first team affairs.
Albion chairman Stephen Hanks said: “Paul and Lloyd have been terrific servants to Ossett Albion over the years and we have no qualms about offering them the opportunity to step up.
“They have put together excellent squads at reserve team and under-19 team levels with many of the players they have nurtured progressing into the first team squad.
“We are confident in their ability to develop the first team and produce a competitive side in preparation for next season.”
The Warehouse Systems Stadium club have been on the search for a new manager after long-serving boss Gilchrist announced his decision to leave the club.
Albion suffered relegation from Evo-Stik Division 1 North last season and the club’s new management team will be charged with the task of guiding the side to promotion from the Northern Counties East League next term.
