OSSETT Albion caused an FA Cup shock by beating North Ferriby United 2-1 in the Second Qualifying Round on Saturday.

Albion were very much the underdogs ahead of the trip to the Evo-Stik Premier Division side but came from behind to book their place in the next round.

Gary Bradshaw had fired Ferriby ahead just five minutes in but Tom Corner's 34th-minute penalty and Darol Lucas's strike just before half-time gave the Dimple Wells club a memorable victory.

In Evo-Stik Division 1 North both Ossett Town and Wakefield FC came from two goals down to earn a share of the spoils against Burscough and Clitheroe respectively.

Lee Turner and Harrison Blakey grabbed the goals as the battling Bears rescued a point in Lancashire in a 2-2 draw.

It was the same scoreline at Stade France, but in-form Town left it until the last five minutes to mount their comeback. They trailed 2-0 before Liam Duff gave them hope with his 85th-minute goal and Wes Milnes scored a 90th-minute equaliser to maintain Town's impressive start to their campaign.
