Ossett Town have secured the services of promising Bradford City striker Lewis Clarkson for the month of January.
Clarkson was expected to play a part in Bradford City’s League One campaign this season, after a productive summer saw him hit the net eight times in six pre-season friendlies. Unfortunately in the final game he picked up an injury that meant he was unavailable.
Clarkson has most recently been on loan at Whitby Town and when that ended the player was delighted to have the opportunity to link up with Town boss John Reed again, who he worked under briefly at Scarborough last season where his goals earned him the move to The Bantams.
Reed said: “This is a great opportunity for the lad to find some form, if he does that then I have no doubt he will be back in the Bradford City first team squad before the season is over.
“Lewis is very fast, as strong as an ox and he certainly knows where the back of the net is, I am confident he will help us as we look to move up the table in the coming weeks.”
