Ossett Town recovered from a goal down to beat Evo-Stik First Division North rivals Wakefield FC in their derby clash last night, Tuesday.

Harrison Blakey put the Bears in front but Steven Jeff and Gareth Gant gave Town the lead at the break.

The visitors continued to dominate after the break and eased to the points thanks to goals from Scott McCrory, Kyle Hawthorne and Chris Wood.

Elsewhere, Ossett Albion are still searching for their first league win of the season after going down 2-1 at home to Ramsbottom United.

Lee Gaskell’s third-minute opener for United was quickly cancelled out by Dale Kelly but Gaskell’s second on the quarter-hour won it for the visitors.
