WAKEFIELD FC return to College Grove today when they host Salford City in Evo-Stik Division 1 North (kick-off 3pm).

The Bears ended a run of six straight defeats with a draw at Woodley Sports last weekend and went one better in beating Prescot Cables away 1-0 in midweek.

Steve Nicholson will be looking for his men to continue their improved form against mid-table Salford and continue their rise up the league table.

Ossett Albion will also be looking to maintain an upturn in fortunes when they travel to Cammell Laird.

Eric Gilchrist’s men have given their survival hopes a boost with four points from their last two games and will need to continue that form this weekend if they’re to maintain a realistic chance of staying up.

Ossett Town continue their battle against relegation from the Premier Division with a trip to Burscough.

Phil Sharpe’s men sit eight points adrift of safety and will be looking to bounce back from a 3-2 home loss against Colwyn Bay last time out.
