Wakefield FC look to untangle Cables

WAKEFIELD FC will aim to bounce back from their midweek defeat at Garforth Town when they host struggling Prescot Cables at Stade France today (kick-off 3pm).

Steve Nicholson’s men have two winnable home games coming up, starting with the visit of the Merseysiders before Salford City visit on Wednesday (kick-off 7.45pm).

The Bears currently sit 12th in Evo-Stik Division 1 North and will be aiming to push on up the table with home advantage.

Bottom club Ossett Albion will hope to end their poor run of results when they host Garforth today (kick-off 3pm).

Albion have endured a torrid time of late and will be desperate to get some points on the board before other clubs at the bottom of the table start to climb away.

There’s a tough task in wait for Ossett Town when they visit leaders Skelmersdale United (kick-off 3pm).
