Junior Football: Cup shoot-out heartbreak for Durkar Devils U9s Yellows
Durkar Devils U9s Yellows gave absolutely everything in their Barnsley League Cup semi-final second leg tie against Pinfold Pumas Blues but suffered the heartbreak of losing out on penalties.
Yellows were the better side but were restricted to a single goal from Joe Backhouse’s header, after a well delivered corner by Aidon Deacon, as the game ended 1-1. Pumas then prevailed 4-2 in the penalty shoot-out.
The man of the match award went to defender Jacob Watts.
The development game finished 2-1 to Pumas with Devils’ goal coming from Aidon Deacon.
