Mason Caton-Brown celebrated a hat-trick as Wakefield Trinity got back to winning ways in Betfred Super League with a 30-10 home win over Catalans Dragons.
Trinity faced Dragons’ pressure during the early stages and after winger Tom Johnstone was forced to leave the field with an injury, Vincent Duport crossed for the opening try, goaled by Luke Walsh, with 16 minutes played.
Back came Trinity however and they took the lead with quickfire unconverted tries from Caton-Brown and Ben Jones-Bishop shortly before the interval.
Caton-Brown crossed for his second, three minutes into the second half, but the French visitors replied with a touchdown from Fouad Yaha, to cut the deficit to two points.
Caton-Brown completed his hat-trick on 57 minutes, Liam Finn added his first goal, and from that point on it was all Wakefield.
Jones-Bishop raced over for his second, Finn again converting, and Craig Huby marked his 300th career appearance with a Finn-improved try 10 minutes from time.
