Mixed injury news has greeted Wakefield Trinity Wildcats ahead of their final trial game of the close season at Doncaster on Sunday (kick-off 3pm).

Head coach Richard Agar will be without Andy Raleigh (ribs), Lee Smith (thumb) and Tim Smith (leg) for the trip to the Keepmoat Stadium after all three suffered setbacks this week.

Raleigh and Tim Smith are both doubts for Wakefield’s Super League opener at Bradford Bulls after suffering injuries in Sunday’s trial game defeat at St Helens, while Lee Smith sustained his injury in training on Wednesday and will be sidelined for four week.

But Agar will give prop Kyle Amor his first run-out of the close season and captain Danny Kirmond, Dean Collis and Oliver Wilkes will return for what is an important match in Wakefield’s preparations for the new season.

Bobbie Goulding will play for Wakefield despite securing a dual registration move to Dons for the new Championship season and putting in a man of the match performance in their 36-22 weekend victory over Keighley Cougars at the weekend.

Wildcats squad to face Doncaster: Mathers, Fox, Collis, Cockayne, Sykes, Poore, Aiton, Lauitiiti, Kirmond, Washbrook, Amor, Wilkes, Mariano, Trout, Mellars, Lyne, Wildie, Cowling, Singleton, John, Goulding, Annakin, Kay, Day.
