They may have lost to Thornes in the Charles Rice Supplementary Cup final but Durkar Devils U14s can be proud of a fine season.

Durkar opened the scoring in only the second minute of the final through Conservatory Outlet man of the match Danny Tunningley, but Thornes fought back to lead 2-1 at the break.

Jake Smith’s claims for a penalty were waved away by the referee and Thornes then added three further goals to take the cup.
Durkar won the league with a perfect record of 12 wins out of 12 and triumphed over Thornes in the League Cup final.
