NORMANTON Golf Club’s Andy Sellars has missed out on a successful defence of his World B2 Blind Golf title.

Sellars carded a gross round one score of 89 at Truro Golf Club, Nova Scotia on Monday, 10 shots behind leader Pieta LeRoux, before shooting 92 yesterday, Tuesday, to finish fifth on the leaderboard.

London’s LeRoux held his nerve to score an impressive 77 in the second round and clinch the gross title and finish top of the list in the B2 net standings with a combined score of 130.

South African Garrett Slattery was second and Japan’s Takeo Takeda took third while Sellars’ total of 149 put him 9th in the net list.
