Durkar Devils U15s continued their fine start to the season with a 5-3 victory over Worsborough Athletic.

After an evenly matched 15 minutes, the deadlock was broken by a free kick from Ben Day which found the bottom corner.

Elliott Sanderson doubled the lead from close range before Worsborough got one back.

Matthew Thomas cut through the visitors’ defence and finished well to restore Durkar’s two-goal advantage. However a goal either side of half time saw the visitors draw level.

Two late goals from Jerimiah Nyanzi and Ben Long was the difference in an very entertaining second half.

Stoneacre player of the match went to Rory Macrow for his excellent defensive work.
