SANDAL first team will make it six wins on the spin should they come away with the points from their National 3 North encounter at home to Harrogate today, Saturday.

Expectations are that it should be a cracking game at Milnthorpe Green with fourth-placed Sandal looking to close the seven-point gap on Harrogate, in second, and maintain their 100 per-cent home record.

Jim Kilfoyle’s troops go into the game full of confidence given their recent run of form while Harrogate, who started the season on fire and unbeaten in their first 10 games, travel to Wakefield on the back of two defeats.

Harrogate are desperate to secure promotion back to National 2 North following last season’s relegation and they are sure to pose difficult opposition for Sandal as they aim to get their campaign back on track with the halfway point of the season approaching.

Sandal second row Rob Overton is unavailable as is prop Rob Norbury so his brother Luke takes over the number three shirt while third brother Ash also joins the match day squad.

Sandal squad v Harrogate (home, kick off 2.15pm): T Coad, A Orr, M Pease, D Martin, J Ellar, S Frewin, G Wood, M Whittingham, J Purcell, J Heron, L Norbury, A Norbury, A Thompson, J Stewart, S Maguire, J Gatus, J Briscoe, S Whittingham.
