Fortress Milnthorpe Green will face a raid from Billingham tomorrow, Saturday, as Sandal aim to defend their superb 100 per-cent home record in National 3 North.

Jim Kilfoyle’s men have won all 10 home games so far this season and an unbeaten run of 12 wins and a draw from their last 13 outings has put Sandal firmly in the race for promotion.

Third place Sandal beat the Durham side 31-5 last October but they are dangerous opponents who boast ex-Premiership and Northampton Saints centre Chris Hyndman within their ranks.

Sandal centre Mark Pease is still out through injury while flanker Jonny Gatus is unavailable so Dan McCormack returns to the squad with versatile centre Dave Martin able to provide forward cover.

Sandal squad v Billingham (home, kick off 3pm): T Coad, J Ellar, J Allott, D Martin, D McCormack, S Frewin, G Wood, M Whittingham, G Newman, L Norbury, J Heron, R Norbury, H Brooke, A Thompson, J Stewart, S Maguire, J Briscoe, S Whittingham.
