NEW loan signing Paul Sykes has been named in Wakefield Wildcats’ 19-man squad for Saturday’s trip to London Broncos in Super League.

The 30-year-old only put pen-to-paper on a season-long loan at Wakefield from Bradford Bulls this week but could get his debut in the red, white and blue against his former club this weekend.

Sykes will take the place of Dean Collis, who failed a fitness test this morning.

Prop Kyle Amor is also included in Richard Agar’s squad after an x-ray on a hand injury this week showed no signs of a repeat of the break he suffered earlier in the season.

There will be some familiar faces in the London squad for Wakefield supporters. Former Wildcats players Julien Rinaldi and Jason Golden are both in Rob Powell’s squad.

Wildcats’ 19-man squad: Mathers, Fox, Mellars, Cockayne, John, Wood, Wilkes, Raleigh, Lauitiiti, Southern, Washbrook, Aiton, Amor, Johnson, Kirmond, Smith, Trout, Walshaw, Sykes.

Broncos’ 19-man squad: Bailey, Bryant, Clubb, Colbon, Cook, Dixon, Dorn, Golden, Gower, Kaufusi, Melling, O’Callaghan, Randall, Rinaldi, Robertson, Rodney, Sarginson, Temata, Witt.
