Hide AdChester is unsure when Wakefield will be able to get back to full training but has planned ahead for a number of outcomes.
“There is not a great deal that is happening and I probably know now what I knew five to six weeks ago,” admitted the Trinity chief.
“The plan now is to start in mid-August, that will have lots to do with the Government guidelines and what they have to say regarding social distancing.
“We are planning for the second or third week in August and we have done an ideal scenario where we get a month’s training into the players and we have done a worse case where we will probably only get two weeks.
“So whatever happens it won’t come as a shock.”

Hide AdChester has also been keeping track of the training being done by his players on their own and says the majority of his squad are hitting their goals.
He added: “The majority are doing exactly what we have asked them to do.
“With regards to the weights, there was only so much stuff we could give to the players.
“We weren’t blessed with a large amount of gym equipment so most of it has been mostly bodyweight.”
