Hide AdNormanton Knights suffered another setback to their Division One promotion hopes when they were pipped 27-26 at lowly East Leeds.
Trailing 17-10 at half-time, Knights fought back in the second-half but they fell agonisingly short.
Their defeat was tough on centre Connor Taylor who scored 14 points with two tries and three goals.

Hide AdNormanton’s other try scorers were winger Lee Hammond and second-row pair James Senkiw and Thomas Alexander.
It was Normanton’s second successive league defeat. They are now fifth in the table but still only only two points adrift of second-placed Skirlaugh.
However, all four teams teams above Normanton have at least one game in hand on them. Normanton visit Oulton Raiders this Saturday.

Yorkshire Junior League Division Two leaders Eastmoor Dragons U16s stretched their unbeaten run to 11 games by beating Wyke 64-1.
Jordan Oxley piled up 24 points with two tries and eight goals. Jack Raby was in great form. He scored three tries and set up two more.
Raby put in Will Bubb for the first of his three tries.
