Wakefield Wildcats coach Glenn Morrison named as part of Exiles staff for England International Origin matches

WAKEFIELD Wildcats assistant coach Glenn Morrison has been named as part of the Exiles coaching staff for this summer’s International Origin Series against England.

Morrison, who started his coaching career with Wakefield full-time after announcing his retirement as a player at the end of last season, is part of a four-man coaching set-up led by former St Helens head coach Daniel Anderson.

He’ll be joined by Hull FC Director of Rugby Shaun McRae and former Bradford Bulls and New Zealand star Robbie Hunter-Paul.

The Exiles’ coaching set-up was announced today, along with captain Brett Hodgson, at Langtree Park, St Helens, where the first match between the Exiles and England will take place on Saturday, June 16.

The second game will take place on Wednesday, July 4 with a venue yet to be announced.

Morrison was named in the playing squad for the Exiles in last year’s inaugural match at Headingley Carnegie Stadium, which the Exiles won 16-12.
