ADMINISTRATORS for Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have revealed that centre Daryl Millard remains on the club’s schedule of assets despite reports of the player’s sale to Super League rivals Catalans Dragons.
The Dragons announced that they had signed the 25 year-old from Wakefield on their official website on Tuesday after “three weeks of negotiations”, according to Catalans chairman Bernard Guasch.
However, Peter O’Hara, from O’Hara & Co administrators, stated that they “haven’t sold Millard”.
He said: “Dragons approached us about Daryl Millard and I invited them to make an offer. However, we didn’t receive an offer from them and Millard is still on the club’s schedule of assets.”
O’Hara has stated that he will investigate whether the sale has taken place and confirm the circumstances of any deal agreed between the clubs.
