FORMER Wakefield Trinity Wildcats winger Semi Tadulala is reportedly returning to the club to train.
The 33 year-old Fijian played for Wakefield from 2004 to 2007 and signed for Bradford Bulls before switching codes to rugby union sides Gloucester and Leeds Carnegie.
Tadulala’s contract at Leeds has now expired and in an article published in Monday’s League Express, Wildcats chief executive James Elston was quoted: “Semi will join us for training but to get him to play for us will require a lot of time and effort getting visas and work permits.”
However, a statement from the club to the Wakefield Express yesterday, Tuesday, stated that Tadulala is “not here training with us at the moment.”
