WAKEFIELD Trinity Wildcats will go into the Rugby League Nines finals night at Headingley next week on the back of three victories in round four of the competition last night, Tuesday.
Trinity enjoyed a perfect record at Castleford Tigers’ PROBIZ Coliseum, defeating opposition from the hosts, Halifax RLFC and Hull KR, to go top of the East Region League and secure their place in the finals.
Boosted by the inclusion of first team players Motu Tony, Kieran Hyde and Josh Veivers, the Wildcats won 30-19 and 30-4 against Rovers and Halifax respectively, before romping to an 18-10 success over rivals Castleford.
It is the second successive week in which the Wildcats have won all three of their group games.
The finals night will be played at Headingley on Tuesday, July 5.
