Wakefield Trinity Wildcats will get their 2016 Super League season underway with a home game against Widnes Vikings on Sunday, February 7 2016 (3pm).
This will be the first time in over seven years that Trinity have enjoyed a home opening game.
Trinity will then take the short journey to The Mend-A-Hose Jungle to face local rivals Castleford Tigers on Sunday, February 14, (3.30pm) for their first away fixture.
Trinity face Leeds Rhinos at Headingley Stadium on Monday, March 28 and the Rhinos will head to Belle Vue on Sunday, June 19, kick-off 3pm.
Wakefield travel to Catalans Dragons in the penultimate game on Saturday, July 16, kick-off 6pm.
The Wildcats will also face the French side at the Magic Weekend at St James’ Park, Newcastle, over the weekend of May 21 and 22.
The final game of the season will be at home to Castleford Tigers on Sunday, July 24.
Wildcats chairman, Michael Carter said: “I cannot wait to get started again and Widnes at home will be a tough opener for us.
“It will be nice to start our campaign at home for once in front of our loyal fans, and I hope that it gives everyone that excitement to get on board early with us and join up to our new members scheme.”
