WAKEFIELD Trinity Wildcats have reported back for pre-season training today.

New head coach Richard Agar got to work with his squad of players for the first time when they gathered at Queen Elizabeth Grammar School to start their preparations for Super League in 2012.

New assistant coaches Glenn Morrison and James Webster were also present to run the rule over the Wildcats squad, while Martin Clawson took up his role of strength conditioner.

But it wasn’t just new coaches present, a whole host of new players including Ben Cockayne and Oliver Wilkes pulled on the Wakefield training gear today for the first time.

The squad returned for a team lunch at the Rapid Solicitors Stadium before finishing with a weights session.

The sessions mark the start of what’s set to be a gruelling pre-season for Wakefield.
