Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have signed Sean Morris from London Broncos on a one-year deal.

Morris predominantly featured as centre for the Broncos last season but can also play on the wing or full-back.

The 26 year-old started his playing career at Championship One side Oxford before going on trial at the Broncos in 2014.

He impressed Broncos’ head coach Joe Grima to earn himself a deal at the Championship side in March this year. In his two stints at the Broncos, Morris has made seven appearances and scored six tries.

Morris said: “It is a really exciting opportunity, particularly because I am stepping up from the Championship to the Super League.

“Joining the set up here at Wakefield with Brian [Smith] as a coach will be great.

“I am fairly new to rugby league so I think my drive and willingness to learn and to improve is a good attitude to have and will help me grow as a player.”
