HULL FC assistant coach James Webster has departed the club, fuelling speculation that he will join Richard Agar at Wakefield Trinity Wildcats.
Agar is still in the process of forming a team of backroom staff following his move from the Black and Whites to Wakefield at the end of the regular season.
And Australian Webster, 32, who was assistant to Agar in Hull for the last two seasons, has emerged as a strong candidate to take on the role at Trinity during the off-season and reunite with his former boss.
Webster has not yet disclosed his plans following the departure from Hull but has stated his desire to stay in Super League.
