Wildcats name strong squad for Nines

WAKEFIELD Trinity Wildcats have named a strong squad as they aim to continue their good form in the Rugby League Nines competition.

Wildcats will take on teams from Castleford Tigers, Halifax RLFC and Hull KR in the fourth round of the competition, which takes place at Castleford’s PROBIZ Coliseum tonight.

Wakefield’s first game will be against Halifax at 7.50pm and first team players Motu Tony, Kieran Hyde and Josh Veivers have been named in the 15-man squad.

Wildcats won all three of their matches in Halifax last week and currently sit second in the East Region League.

Entry for tonight’s round costs £6 for adults and £3 for juniors.

The full squad is: Motu Tony, Dale Morton, Josh Veivers, James Davey, Russ Spiers, Kieran Hyde, Samy Masselot, Stan Robin, Liam Kaye, Kyle Trout, Danny Cowling, Andy Tate, Tom Henderson, Tom Hodson and Josh Hardcastle.
