TWO hot prospects from Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have received call-ups for England U16s in 2013.
Jordan Crowther, a prop or second row, and full-back Max Jowitt, both part of the club’s Under-16s Scholarship, have been named in the national squad for next year’s junior international season.
The pair could feature in matches against Wales, Scotland and Ireland and the season runs from March to July with exact dates for fixtures yet to be confirmed.
Crowther plays for Westgate Wolves and attends Horbury School while Jowitt is a four-times Carnegie National Schools Cup winner with Outwood Grange Academy and also plays for Stanley Rangers.
The success of the talented young duo showcases the rich quality of young rugby league players in the Wakefield district and highlight’s Wildcats’ pledge to help develop quality young players for the future.
Both players will be eager to pull on the white shirt in 2013 and continue their progression with the Wakefield’s U16s side.
