WAKEFIELD Trinity Wildcats head coach Richard Agar is wary of the threat that former Wildcat Danny Brough will pose when he returns to the Rapid Solicitors Stadium with Huddersfield Giants on Sunday.
Brough was the man of the match in Giants’ 17-16 home win over St Helens last week and Agar concedes that the 29 year-old is enjoying some of the best form of his career.
Agar said: “Brough kicks the ball longer than anyone in the competition.
“He has really matured as a player and a person. He has a really good family life at the moment and the club has got a lot out of him.
“[Giants] probably got him at the right time but he has fitted into the way they want to play.”
He added: “It’s not just his kicking game but his touch on the ball is outstanding and he is scoring a lot of tries.
“It’s no surprise he has made it into the England squad again.”
