The Manchester-based band have recently been snapped up by major label Colombia and are now setting off on an extensive tour of intimate venues in the north to introduce fans to their brand new material recorded during some prolific sessions over Christmas.

They will be appearing at Leeds venue Oporto on Wednesday, February 10.

After relocating from Lancaster to Manchester last year, Lake Komo have been steadily building a growing fanbase in the north west and 2015 saw them supporting the likes of Jack Garratt, Boxed In, Hidden Charms, and Eaves, as well as festival appearances at Liverpool Sound City, Y Not and more further afield.

As the band’s sound has progressed from humble acoustic beginnings, so too has their live set. Their recent EP, ‘Ritual’ (out now on Columbia), showcases expansive, bold arrangements for their emotionally driven songs and soulful vocals which instantly resonate with audiences.

Lake Komo’s tour begins at The Telstar, in Barnsley, on Friday (January 29) and also includes a date at Blacksmiths, in Doncaster, on Friday, February 12.
