Wakefield Council will be running a week-long online celebration of Pontefract’s liquorice heritage from from July 5 to July 11.

‘Pontefract Allsorts’ will replace this year’s Liquorice Festival.

Residents will still be able to enjoy a whole week of online family fun, which will include favourites Lucy Liquorice, renowned liquorice expert Tom Dixon, who was featured on BBC's Countryfile, and the Great British Bake Off’s Karen Wright, as well as activities delivered by Pontefract Civic Society.
