Fun dance show for all the family

A group of hip hop dancers arrive at an apprarently deserted pub .

The local rumour mill suggests the place is frequented by other-worldly characters. As the regulars arrive a clash of cultures soon turns into a dance floor stand-off. Sword dancers wield snooker cues, b boys dance the morris and the hip hoppers go into battle with clog girls.

At the same time house band The Demon Barbers take English folk music on a new journey with hip hop, house, funk, disco and even say hello to drum and base and ska along the way.

Fresh from their sellout performances of The Lock In Christmas Carol, The Demon Barbers and Breaking Tradition Dance Company return to Ye Olde Fighting Cocks for this comical new take on their five star live music and dance extravaganza.

With maverick and compelling live music by those BBC Radio 2 award-winners The Demon Barbers, some of the UK’s oldest forms of dance are brought right up to date with some of the youngest in a family-friendly celebration of dance culture.
