Wakefield National Coal Mining Museum will be closed into the New Year
The National Coal Mining Museum has confirmed it will remained closed into the New Year over Covid uncertainty.
The museum said it was unclear when it would be allowed to reopen and would look at option in 2021.
A spokesman for the museum said: "Due to ongoing uncertainty regarding when we can reopen, the National Coal Mining Museum has made the difficult decision to remain closed and will open as soon as we are able to in the New Year. Please keep an eye on our social media and website for future updates."
