Wakefield architects opens new London office

Wakefield architects The Harris Partnership has opened a new office in London as it continues to expand.

The St John’s North firm launched The Northern Design House in London office on St Christopher’s Place W1. The move will allow the partnership to attract more development investment from the capital into UK regions such as Wakefield. It follows a period of unprecedented success that has seen the firm grow into a national firm employing 140 people, including 70 in Wakefield.

Group managing director Mike Schorah said: “We now have an established national presence and are the go to architect for many national funds and retailers. The central London office provides us with a physical proximity to our national and international investor-developer clients, as well as signalling our ambitions as a nationally growing and recognised business.
