St John Ambulance has launched its summer first aid awareness campaign after new research reveals that more than half of adults surveyed in Yorkshire and Humberside (57%)* (55% nationally) do not know the difference between life-threatening heat stroke, which requires a 999 call, and heat exhaustion, which can be treated by cooling and hydrating a patient.[1]

A group of intrepid colleagues, from Wakefield bus operator Stagecoach Yorkshire’s Engineering team, have taken on the renowned Three Peaks Challenge to support the fight against cancer.
