Money has been allocated by Wakefield Council to put the zebra crossing on Lake Lock Road outside of Stanley St Peter’s Primary School and the opposing Co-op convenience store.

The council representatives for Stanley posted on Facebook this week :”We are pleased to say funding has been identified and we could have a zebra crossing installed next year.

“Coun Matthew Morley has spoken to the school who supports this idea and their commitment to keeping the crossing patrol as well.”
