School splashes out on new sports equipment thanks to generous donation
A school has splashed out on new sports equipment thanks to a generous donation.

St John’s Junior and Infants was given £500 by a parent governor of the Wakefield school, Wajid Ali.
And the Belgravia Road school has used the cash to boost its sports cupboard, with new rugby balls and tennis rackets among other items.
Mr Ali also donated a new awards shield.

Last year he donated £1,000 for the school to help buy new musical instruments to help launch a campaign to get more youngsters into music.
