Toddlers at Wakefield nursery have a 'flipping' good Pancake Day thanks to Jack's donation

The supermarket, on Westgate Retail Park, kindly donated a hamper of pancake ingredients and toppings to Cliff Hill Nursery.

Michael Ward, Store Manager of Jack’s Wakefield, said: "Here at Jack’s the local community is so important to us, especially the smallest members. We hope the children at Cliff Hill Nursery enjoy tasting the delicious pancakes and learning all about Pancake Day.”

Cliff Hill Nursery said: “Our children enjoyed mixing, weighing, cooking and flipping pancakes, topping with tasty toppings!

"The children could then rein act the experience in our sand and roleplay area.

"Thank you Jack’s for your donation!”
