Wakefield working men's club closes after staff member tests positive for Covid-19

A working men's club has announced it will remain closed for more than a week after a member of staff tested positive for Covid-19.

Kinsley Coronation WMC confirmed on Facebook that they had made the decision to close after the member of staff received their result.

The club, on Ford Street, Kinsley, said they would close for a "deep clean" from Tuesday in light of the news.

They will reopen on Thursday, October 15.

The full post reads: "We sorry to announce that the club will have to close for a deep clean due to a member of staff testing positive for Covid-19.

"We will re open 15th October. Sorry for any inconvenience, hope to see you soon."
