Cadbury’s Secret Santa returns - here’s how to secretly send chocolate to a loved one this Christmas

Cadbury’s Secret Santa is back for Christmas 2020, allowing you to send a secret treat to your loved ones this year.

The Cadbury website explains that the secret santa allows gives you “the chance to send chocolate secretly to someone you love.”

Secret Santa adds an online option

This year, Cadbury’s Secret Santa has launched an online postal service - alongside a range of other options which remain in place - meaning you can send a chocolate bar to someone you love from the comfort of your own home.

If you want to send chocolate to a friend, family member, or a loved one this Christmas, then you can do so via Cadbury Gifts Direct, Asda, or the new online postal service.

Alternatively, you can head to a participating Tesco store and buy select Cadbury products in order to get a free treat to hand-deliver to your loved one.

Secret Santas can choose from one of the following Cadbury chocolate gifts online to secretly send to a loved one:

The Postal Service will deliver your chocolate for free to anywhere in the UK, and for every bar posted, a second Cadbury bar will also be donated to a food bank.

Cadbury’s explains that, “This year, when you take part you’ll also be helping to spread the generosity even further,” as the chocolate company has partnered with food bank charity the Trussell Trust.

“We’ve partnered with the Trussell Trust so that when you take part and secretly sendsome delicious Cadbury chocolate this year, we’ll be sending a second baron your behalf to a food bank in the Trussell Trust network,” adds Cadbury’s.

‘We want to help bring that little bit of extra Christmas magic’

Paola Cassinelli, senior brand manager for Cadbury Christmas, said: "We can't wait to bring our Secret Santa campaign online and give everyone the chance to send chocolate secretly to someone they love."

Ms Cassinelli adds, "We've partnered with the Trussell Trust and for every free Secret Santa sent Cadbury are donating a bar to a food bank in the Trussell Trust’s network. We want to help bring that little bit of extra Christmas magic to a family or household who might really need it.”
