National Pet Day is today (April 11) and celebrates the joy that pets bring into peoples lives whilst encouraging people to help reduce the number of animals in centres across the country.
From playful pups to loving bunnies and sweet kittens, the RSPCA Leeds and Wakefield centre in East Ardsley is looking for numerous local families to open their hearts and adopt an animal this spring.
Here are the rabbits, cats and dogs all looking for their forever home.

7. Frank
Two-year-old Mastiff X Frank is a big goofy, soft lad with plenty of energy and love to give! He is a bouncy lad and will sometimes get overly excited with people, so, he would be best living with a family who have kids 16+ years old. Photo: RSPCA Leeds & Wakefield

8. Harley
Harley is a three-year-old Crossbreed who is super active, incredibly intelligent and just a happy girly with the biggest smile! It takes a lot to tire me her out so, she would enjoy a family who can give her plenty of enrichment and make her mind work. Photo: RSPCA Leeds & Wakefield
