The family-run business, on Shay Lane, has become one of the district’s favourites since opening in January 2025.
Now, the cafe has welcomed numerous famous faces through its doors as the new TV show This Is Your Ride began filming there.
The cafe recently welcomed stars including Coronation Street legend, and Celebrity Traitors faithful, Julie Hesmondhalgh, as well as comedians John Bishop and Vic Reeves.
Owner, Jordan Haydock said: “When we first opened Buttons, we never imagined we’d welcome so many familiar faces through the doors.
“Having celebrities visit has been exciting, but what we love most is that Buttons is a place where everyone can feel welcome."
