The Mr Men and Little Miss book series was created by renowned illustrator Roger Hargreaves in 1971, and continues to remain popular today.

The new Royal Mint coin collection pays homage to Hargreaves’ brilliant designs, and includes numerous different coins - some of which are in colour - perfect for those feeling nostalgic for the beloved Mr Men and Little Miss characters.

The Royal Mint website explains that the “Mr. Men Little Miss characters have become some of the most instantly recognisable in the world.
