TUI is closing kids clubs and creches at some holiday resorts

The tour operator also revealed some other new changes to be made to its holidays, as it prepares to welcome tourists back from Saturday 11 July.

Which holiday resorts will keep kids clubs and creche open?

Some holiday resorts will keep their kids clubs and creches open. However, rules will be in place to increase the safety of the areas, such as limited capacity and different opening hours.

Therefore, TUI has advised customers to check with the individual resorts to see if these services are open and what rules are in place before making any bookings.

What other changes will TUI holiday resorts face?

Some of the other new precautions announced by the travel company include the enforcement of mandatory face masks on planes and the closure of nightclubs, along with the banning of football games.

The travel company explained that these rules are likely to change as the destination in question modifies its safety guidelines.

TUI’s ‘Holiday Promise’

TUI has also unveiled a new ‘Holiday Promise’ it is making to its customers. The company has pledged to only sell and operate holidays that are completely "quarantine free" and “without significant changes” for travellers.

As part of this holiday promise, TUI has decided to cancel all bookings to Florida this year due to the new restrictions being implemented at Disney World.

The travel company explained the decision in a statement, saying, "The decision has been made following new health and safety measures implemented at Walt Disney World to ensure the safety of its guests.

"These changes would significantly impact the holiday experience for many TUI customers who plan their magical and often once-in-a-lifetime Florida holiday."
