5. Leonard (Len) Hutton
The Pudsey-born sportsman was an English cricketer. He played as an opening batsman for Yorkshire County Cricket Club from 1934 to 1955 and for England in 79 Test matches between 1937 and 1955.

6. Charles Laughton

7. John Harrison
He was a self-educated English carpenter and clockmaker who invented the
marine chronometer, a long-sought-after device for solving the problem of calculating longitude while at sea.
He was born in Foulby near Wakefield in 1693.

8. John Barry
The composer was born in York. He composed the scores for 11 of the James Bond films between 1963 and 1987.
