A BMX competition, stunt displays, skills courses, unicycling and pirate-themed bike rides were just some of the activities on offer at the park’s first family cycling festival on Saturday.
The day also marked the start of a new bike hire scheme at Thornes Park Stadium, which will also be introduced at Pugneys Country Park from this Saturday.
