Appeal after man assaulted in ginnel
Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in a ginnel in Wakefield.
The incident took place in the ginnel, which leads to St Oswald’s Road, off Dewsbury Road in Lupset at 6pm on Saturday evening.
It is thought that after the incident happened the victim came out of the ginnel and officers would like to speak to anyone who saw an injured man at this point.
*A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and has since been bailed.
