Armed Forces Day at Nostell Priory
Wakefield Council has organised the event, which will be attended by military personnel and councillors, at Nostell Priory from 10am on Sunday, June 22.

Hide AdThere will also be a display by the White Helmets motorcycle team, a farmers’ market, a craft fair, a Spitfire static display, a climbing wall and a falconry display.
Coun Sandra Pickin, the council’s armed forces champion, said: “We’re delighted to be supporting Armed Forces Week again this year with a spectacular free family event at Nostell Priory.
“The day is part of our ongoing campaign to honour and support service families and to help service personnel settle back into civilian life.
